One way or another, they're gonna getcha: Female-fronted bands, fans and artists getting ready to take over the Portage Theater in Chicago, IL.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Chicago, Illinois, United States of America September 8, 2010 -

Hard rock, long hair, ripped jeans and disgruntled battle cries aren't only attributed to male musicians. Dame-Nation is quickly proving to the music world that there are quite a few talented female rockers out there.

Dame-Nation's first event was last winter in Chicago, IL and was touted as a "female driven mega-show". It featured celebrity rock host Ambre Lake (from VH1's Bret Michaels Rock of Love 2), Jessica Robinson (a finalist from Rockstar INXS) with HighGlossBlack, Jodi Kell and Petra Sith with Losing Scarlet, Hannah Ford with her Hannah Ford Band, Kimm Ladd with F.H.O.D., Kryssie Ridolfi with Deadmanswake, Tracey Sage with SAGE4, Brooke Bartlett with Whiskey Blonde and Pain-Kurst Girls Gia and Olivia; all-in-all eleven edgy performers with roots in Chicago who came together to put on an eight hour hard rock concert event.

The media knew a hot story when it saw one; published articles appeared in The Chicago Tribune Triblocal, The Chicago Sun-Times, The Daily Southtown/Star, CLTV's entertainment segment as well as webzine and small-run editorials. The event was advertised on radio, in music magazines and on every social networking site imaginable.

The creative concepts, PR, talent acquisitions, event production and promotions are organized and carried out by Eric Sanchez of Rock Mobster Entertainment. Eric states, "our focus right now is to give as much attention to these female based bands and see how far they can go in their careers. They're amazing! They possess admirable stage presence and deserve to be on the same stage as current "pop-summer fest" bands. The Chicago music scene has a lot of great talent and unfortunately it either comes down to luck, who you know, how much you're willing to invest or who helps you along the way". Sanchez continues, "I would like to learn as much about this industry as I can, establish myself, make some great partnerships and be some sort of helping hand for these driven bands".

The next event, the second in 2010, is titled Dame-Nation Redux 2010 and will take place on October 16, 2010 at the Portage Theater in Chicago, IL. The event features a similar in your face line-up but with more of a metal edge. The host for this "mega-show" will be the infamous Metal Sanaz. Metal Sanaz has made a name for herself on the West Coast as a music celebrity. She has worked, hosted, toured and interviewed with almost every iconic rock star in the business today. She is also known for supporting up-and-coming artists throughout the country.

While Metal Sanaz will serve as the "Mistress of Ceremonies" there will be six hard rock bands ready to make an impression on the Chicagoland metal-heads and turn them on to something new, no pun intended. Margaret Young will lead the charge with the headlining A.D.D. (Analog Digital Disorder). A.D.D. is a Chicagoland success by being signed to two record labels, one here in the U.S (DZA) and another in the U.K. (FemmeMetal Records), has music distribution in Best Buy stores and has toured with huge rock acts like Korn, Chevelle, Drowning Pool, Powerman 5000 and more.

The other artists include Michele Caruso with the popular Circle of Fate, Kryssie Ridolfi with Deadmanswake, Kimm Ladd with F.H.O.D., Linda Lars with Wicked Soul and Lisa LoGrasso with Beneath the Stares. All Chicago based bands have a solid local and semi-national following. Bands like Deadmanswake and Circle of Fate have even stirred the hardcore passions of those in other countries like New Zealand, Germany, Australia, and England.

This affordable rock extravaganza ($12 pre-sale) is for those that love music, thrive on the power and passion of hard rock and love being part of something revolutionary and spectacular. Dame-Nation Redux will prove to be another must-attend event!

In addition to the high voltage energy surrounding the event, many rock style supporters have shown their support by either donating, purchasing advertising or being part of the event to add to the aura of the over-the-top presentation that Dame-Nation has become known for. Daisy Rock Girls Guitars will be giving away a guitar while Femme Metal Records has financed a portion of the production; both are listed as official sponsors of Dame-Nation Redux 2010!

If you're within driving, flying or riding distance of Chicago, Illinois on October 16th 2010, make sure you attend this female-driven showcase!

Veronica Freeman of the band Benedictum is probably the most bad ass female heavy metal singer out there. As far as Metal power goes, she's IT. She can actually sing, too, look she's singing for the opera Lyraka.
