great woman from Spain, Irene Villegas! And his band Against Myself!

Hello my friend it's a pleasure know about you!
¿How have you been?
I've been fine, enjoying and working a lot
with my boys of Against Myself. We have been rehearsing for our next tour
''Odyssey To Reflexion Tour''.
¡Tell us about you, please introduce yourself to our readers!
Hi everyone! I'm Irene Villegas and i was born
in July 22 of the year 1993. I'm singer of the spanish band ''Against Myself''.
One of my dreams is to earn my life with my
passion and make feel the people the same way.
People who know me say that i'm very funny,
sensitive and happy!
¿How did your career start?
Since i was a child i've been involved in the
music, studying, having fun with my choruses and singing all over the rooms of
my house. I decided to take lessons of classical singing and modern singing,
that way i've improved my voice.
In August of 2009 i started with Against
Myself and it has been one of the best experiences, i've learned a lot and now
i know in which way i need to go.
¿What are your musical influences?
I have grown listening to symphonic metal,
bands like: Nightwish and Within Temptation. This bands are my main influence.
Also i like Epica, certainly it's my favourite band.
Other genres i like are metalcore, djent and
death metal.
¿What are your Hobbies?
Travelling and meet new people is my new
hobby. I can meet new people within the music world and in my daily life.
Also i like the world of makeup and oil
paintings.
¿Do you have vocal training?
Yes, I've been several years taking lessons.
classical singing and modern singing. I've had great teachers like the spanish
soprano Tania Centeno and like the heavy metal singer Leo Jimenez.
I've learned incredible things of each one of
my teachers and i try to fuse this with my own style.
I think is important and necessary to take
lessons as a singer.
¿What are your favorite vocalists? Inside and outside of metal genre.
Within the metal it is impossible not mention
to Floor Jansen, Tarja Turunen, Simone Simons and Elize Ryd.
Outside of metal genre i like Monica Naranjo,
Christina Aguilera, Maria Callas and Aretha Franklin.
¿What do you guys have prepared for this year 2015?
We hope to make a lot of concerts and
introduce our new album. We are working in a new video clip too.
¿Would you like to try other genre? a heaviest style?
I think we already are in that style. Against
Myself has diverse songs with epic orchestrations and melodic lines, you can
find amazing breakdowns and heavy parts.
We have wanted to try other genres, from
symphonic classical metal.
¿How did you join to the band? What is the proposal of the new album
''Odyssey to Reflexion''?
I've have always met to Charly Carreton
(composer and guitarist) and to Agust Moya (Keyboards), we had studied in the
same school in our town.
One day they called me and decided to try a
couple songs. They were starting a new project of symphonic metal and Against
Myself was born.
Odyssey to Reflexion is the second album and
you can notice a big change in the music and style, with a more technical
trend.
You can notice epic orchestrations and melodic
transitions till heavier sounds.
¿How was the production? How has been the acceptance of the audience?
First we modeled a demo with the new songs,
once we fixed all details started recording at ''Dark Road Studios''. This
studio is from our sound engineer Manuel Borja.
After that, the mixture was made. Then the
mastering of the album at ''Mastering Mansion Studios'' of Madrid.
The
acceptance of the album has been great! We are glad.
It all has been good reviews and more
followers from different countries.
Our new video clip ''Through the end of
times'' has 20,000 reproductions and it was released three months ago.
We are very proud and motivated to keep on
working.
¿Did you write the songs of the álbum?
I wrote some lyrics like: Beyond the chains,
Firebird's flight and God of deads.
¿There'll be a new vÃdeo clip?
We are working in a new one and i hope soon
reveal more.
